Flat pack office cabins are widely used in all over the world in order to reduce the costs of the products, offer a solution for restricted spaces. Shipping containers or other type of cabins are generally manufactured and transported as mono-block and not as cost effective as flat pack cabins.

 

As Portable Units we are offering a wide range of different sized flat pack cabins for sale throughout the UK. Our uniquely designed container offices can be self-assembled easily. Thanks to its galvanised steel structure, our flat pack cabin range is strong and robust. 

These distinctive flat pack office cabins suit both commercial enterprises and individual customers. Wall Panels and Insulation

The cabin's walls are made of sandwich panels. The sandwich panels consist of 0.4 mm thick powder coated galvanized steel sheets both inside and outside which makes it secure from theft. They are insulated with 50 mm EPS (Expanded Polystyrene Insulation) technology, which makes the cabins to be used in all weather conditions. 

All the external and internal surfaces of our standard flat pack product range are made from RAL 9002 powder coated metal sheets which provides protection again rust and gives a smooth finishing. We may also offer RAL 7016 for customized orders. 

Windows

In order to take advantage of sunlight and offer a natural light inside our flat pack office cabins, we use 780mm x 1200 mm uPVC double glazed (4 mm x 62 mm x 4 mm) tilt & turn windows. The light transmittance is 82%, solar transmittance is 74% and U value is 5.7 W/m2K.

6m cabins have 2 windows whereas 3m and 4m units have 1 window. You always have the option to purchase extra windows with its supporting below/above wall panels. Fly screens can be arranged.

Doors

The frames of the door is made of 1.5 mm galvanized steel. The door is made of 1 mm thick coat coil galvanized steel sheet.

The dimensions of the door is 90 cm x 200 cm and and comes with metal door handle and cylinder lock. Similar to wall panels, we offer 50 mm EPS insulation in our doors.

Roof & Ceiling Structure

The frame is made of 2 mm thick galvanised steel chassis profiles. 50mm EPS insulated panels are used for insulation on the roof section. 

 

On top of the panels, the outer roof layer is of 0.50 mm corrugated galvanised trapezoidal sheets to protect the cabin from weather conditions.

There are hidden gutters on both long and short sides of the roof section and rain water is drained via gutters through the corners, which are hidden inside the corner posts and wall panels which makes our cabins waterproof.

 

Chassis 

The frame of the chassis and the load bearing posts in our flat pack office cabin range is made of 2 - 2.5 mm thick galvanised steel profiles.

The chassis carcass is made of 1 - 2 mm thick C-U profiles which are fixed in every 40 cm along the cabins.

All the units in our standard flat pack product range has the frame colour of RAL 9002 (grey white). We may also offer RAL 7016 for customized orders. 

Packing

Our container cabins are transported as flat pack to offer a cost effective solution to our customers. We always try our best to pack the components as stable as possible in order to minimize the risk of damages and scratches. All the nuts, bolts, screws, corner trims, skirting, handles​ etc is supplied in the pack.

Totally Man Portable

Thanks to their man-portable design, erecting our flat-pack cabins is easy and straightforward. You won’t need a crane or any heavy lifting equipment to assemble them. Depending on the size of the unit, all you need to have some spare hands to help you build your portable cabin.

 

The floor sections can be unbolted to reduce the weight, making it easier to carry into hard-to-reach areas like gardens.

 

The roof section is also designed to be lifted by hand without any special tools which makes it totally man portable.
 

Floor

The floor of our flat pack office cabins is made from 18mm OSB-3 boards over the carcass profiles attached to the frame.

 

Floor boards can be unbolted and carried to inaccessible places piece by piece where it makes our cabins totally man portable.

The boards are coated with wooden like 2.0 mm PVC vinyl, grey colour. 

The load bearing capacity of the floor is 250 kg/m2, evenly distributed.

Perfect solution for restricted places

On the contrary to standard shipping containers or mono-block cabins which can only be delivered as one piece, these demounted flat-pack office units can be transported and unloaded to more restricted and inaccessible locations. The flat-pack cabins can easily be delivered on a flat-bed truck or even a trailer, which gives a great access advantage for the narrow roads or places that Hiab lorries can not reach. This also brings a delivery cost advantage when compared to the standard containers especially if you are looking for multiple unit purchases or deliveries. Our units are transported as stacked on top of each other which gives our company the opportunity to offer these products at reasonable and competitive prices due to the advantageous transportation costs. 

Simple and quick assembly

The assembly process for your flat-pack prefab cabin is a straightforward task that typically requires 2 to 4 people, depending on the cabin size. Within a time frame of less than 2 hours, you can complete the erection of your portable cabin. The process involves positioning the cabin in its designated installation location, securing the bolts of the corner posts, locating the wall panels, doors, and windows to the designated slots, affixing the upper beams to lock the structure, and erecting the roof. All the necessary materials, including corner trims, bolts, nuts, and screws, are provided with your unit. If you need to move your cabin unit to another location, you can either transport it fully assembled or revert to its original flat state by reversing the assembly steps.
